Step 2: Alternatively, you can directly click this link and select the name of your state or union territory on the page as shown below.

Step 3: Next, choose the financial year, district, block, and Gram Panchayat, then click the “Proceed” button to generate the complete report, including the Job Card number and name. This will display the NREGA Gram Panchayat List, similar to the example shown below.

Step 4: Click on the Job Card number listed next to the beneficiary’s name in the adjacent column. This will open the detailed MGNREGA Job Card, as shown in the image below:

In the search field, type your name in Hindi as shown in the image below. The entries matching your typed name will be highlighted. You can use the up and down arrows to navigate through the matches and find your exact name, along with the corresponding job card number.

Number of NREGA Workers – State Wise

According to the official website nrega.nic.in, as of April 25, 2024, there are 25,66,61,675 registered NREGA workers across all Indian states and union territories, with 12,90,73,324 of them being active. Mizoram has the highest percentage of active workers, with 89.15% of its workforce actively engaged in NREGA, indicating a significant participation in the program.

In contrast, Lakshadweep has the lowest percentage of active workers at just 1.12%, suggesting limited involvement in NREGA activities. States like Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu also show strong engagement, with 76.74% and 74.8% of their workers actively participating in NREGA, reflecting effective implementation of the scheme in these regions.

On the other hand, regions such as Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu have a lower percentage of active workers at 6.48%, which may indicate lower utilization of the scheme or other factors affecting worker participation.
